  • Check-in is after 4pm and check-out is by 10am.
  • Must electronically sign an additional Rental Agreement Terms and Conditions and any Neighborhood Rules sent by Host (property manager) or entry information cannot be sent.

Property Access

  • AWD/4WD is required to access this home. The driveway is paved, but a steep climb up.
  • Garage is not available for guests.
  • 4WD/AWD and/or chains recommended during winter (Nov-March) for all homes. Travelers visiting during the winter months where inclement weather may be possible should come prepared with an AWD or 4WD vehicle, and chains may also be required if it snows. No refunds, allowances, or date changes will be given to travelers who are not prepared with the proper vehicle, as outlined in the Rental Agreement.

Policies and Rules

  • This home is pet friendly, allowing dogs up to 40lbs for an additional rent of $25 per night per pet.
  • No smoking inside the home. No trace of smoking left outside the home.
  • No parties or gatherings above the posted occupancy allowed at any time. Keep outside noise respectable.
  • Must be at least 25 years old to reserve. This person is required to be the person signing the agreement and must be one of the persons staying in the property for the reserved dates.
  • Do not leave food or trash outside as it could attract animals. All trash must be bagged and placed in the trash receptacle indicated in the Welcome Book inside the house or your digital guidebook.
  • Minimum age: 25 years.
  • Children allowed.
  • No events allowed.

Fees and Payments

  • This home is pet friendly, allowing dogs up to 40lbs for an additional rent of $25 per night per pet.
  • Firewood for the outdoor firepit may be purchased at the time of booking or with a week's notice. You'll receive two kiln-dried bundles and a firestarter for $25 plus tax.
  • CANCELLATION POLICY - Bookings canceled with a 15+ day notice will receive a refund of the deposit. Bookings canceled between 8-14 days before arrival will receive a refund of half of their reservation payments. Bookings canceled within 7 days of arrival are not entitled to a refund unless the reservation dates are rebooked to another guest. All bookings are subject to a $50 cancellation fee.

Utilities and Amenities Access

  • All BRMR homes offer well-stocked kitchens with all utensils needed to cook meals. There is also a "starter set" of paper products at the house: a roll of toilet paper per bath, several garbage bags, a small vial of dishwashing liquid, a few tablets of dishwasher detergent, some laundry pods, a roll of paper towels, hand soap, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and some makeup remover cloths. There are enough of these items for one night, or maybe two.
  • Towels and linens will be provided.
  • A hair dryer is available.
  • Homeowner provides pack n play, high chair, and a gate at the top of the stairs for little ones.
  • Guests with large groups may also rent Ursa Minor, which is next door to 1st in Sugar.
  • Complimentary bottle of wine and 2 glasses from local winery (Grandfather winery) for any booking.
  • High speed internet is available.
  • Washer and dryer are available for guest use.
  • Hot tub is available for guest use.
